SunEase v5 is a DOS program and will not run on most newer computers.
Divide by Zero - R6003 Error


This error has been reported by several users running SunEase v5 on several different "fast" computer systems. These computer generally run a 600 MHz or faster. The current resolution is to run the program on a different computer or upgrade to SunEase 2000.

With the original problem described below, the program would not run. With the new reports of this problem the program may occasionally run.

Compaq Model 7360
Gateway 866
Dell Dimension L500CX
HP Pavilion 6736
Dell Dimension L733R
HP Pavilion 8756C

Divide by Zero - R6003 Error
SunEase v3.0


When starting SunEase a "run-time error R6003 - integer divide by zero" error may occur on certain computers. These computers generally have AMD or Cyrix 133+ processors. This has also been seen on Pentium 300+ processors.


The following fixes are available:

Upgrade to SunEase Version 5.0

- Or -

If you received SunEase between February and September 1998
Get to the SunEase prompt
Insert the Installation Disk
Type A:FIXR6003
Select Yes to overwrite TAN_MAIN.EXE

- Or -

Disable the Internal Cache (from the computer's BIOS settings). This fix will slow down the computer so consider this a temporary fix.
